Eurasian Bank continues to implement environmental initiatives in the regions of Kazakhstan. Another campaign was held in Taldykorgan, where the Bank employees planted 40 pine saplings in the parking area of the Khorgos International Center for Cross-Border Cooperation.

Environmental campaigns are becoming a systematic practice for the Bank: the employees across the country are gradually involved in landscaping projects, forming a sustainable contribution to the development of the urban environment.

Madiyar Kolbayev, Director of the Eurasian Bank Branch in Taldykorgan, emphasized:

“We consistently develop environmental projects and see that they resonate with the employees, customers and partners. It is important for us that taking care of our cities and towns becomes a habit, not a one-time campaign. Every tree planted is a real contribution to the future,” he said.

The management company of the ICCC Khorgos also noted the innovativeness of the project:

“Thousands of people come to us every day. Trees will make this space livelier and more comfortable. It is especially gratifying that businesses are addressing issues such as landscaping and helping to improve the environment,” the company commented.

Eurasian Bank is a member of the Mastercard Priceless Planet Coalition global program, which unites more than 150 organizations worldwide. By 2030, its participants plan to plant 100 million trees worldwide.

In addition to participating in the Priceless Planet Coalition, the Bank issues a special Eco Card, transaction bonuses on which are used for landscaping projects.

Over the past year, more than 1, 000 trees have been planted in Almaty, Astana and other cities of the country. For the Bank and its employees, this is becoming a good and sustainable tradition that not only improves the urban environment, but also unites people around the idea of caring for nature.
