The Algapay Payment Service reported cases of dissemination of false information and the appearance of fake messages on behalf of the Company.
According to the Service, the attackers use similar names, unofficial accounts and other communication channels, posing as representatives of the Company. Users are promised cash payments, bonuses, prizes, or offered to follow suspicious links.
The Company recalled that Algapay does not conduct money sweepstakes, does not request confirmation codes and bank card information from customers, and also does not debit funds from user accounts.
In this regard, Eurasian Bank urges customers to remain vigilant and follow simple rules of financial security:
- do not follow links from questionable messages;
- do not disclose SMS codes, passwords, and bank card details to third parties;
- check information about promotions, bonuses, and special offers on official company resources;
- If in doubt, contact the company’s support service through confirmed contacts.
Remember: if the offer looks too attractive or requires you to provide personal information urgently, you should additionally check its authenticity.
Mindfulness remains one of the most efficient ways to protect against fraud.
